Practically smart

"There was no way this was ever going to work." I'm not sure who said it but it is a phrase worth coining.

F.B.P.C.: They created it in early two thousand & seven, mostly as an experiment to collect data....... but, it worked. Put a couple of guys who's mission in life is to eradicate unwanted and destructive entities by work order directive, in charge of terrorist elimination here within our borders, that is, practically smart.

The first two guys were hired under the guise of "consultants". They were given a van and all the best gear, but all strictly pest oriented. They were asked to evaluate a small, empty Federal building up for sale which had acquired a mouse colony and turn in a detailed report which outlined the steps that they would take and how they would utilize each tool in their arsenal. I'm told it was impressive stuff, compared to FBI reports of the same application. They were given a job to do, and they got it done.

As time passed the two guys were given larger buildings, then whole installations. They were allocated staff and bigger, better equipment. They were loaned an R&D department who were, unbeknownst to them, military scientists and engineers. At the end of the experiment they could either capture and contain or eliminate their prey using stealthily applied chemical/bio-engineered substances or by sonar- like applications, get the populations to travel to a containment structure voluntarily. They were used on military installations, just incase the unintended or co-existing populations (dogs, cats...humans)were inadvertantly affected. Mostly, they were'nt, long term.
